Since 2012, our patient-focused family dental center has proudly provided the East Peoria community with exceptional dental services and friendly, personal treatment. We offer full-service dentistry for adults as well as children from the age of 6. This enables us to be a convenient local dentist office for the entire family. Our office is located close to public transportation at 809 W. Camp St. in East Peoria, right off of I-74, next door to Panera Bread. Maple Shade Dental in Peoria, Illinois, at Camp Crossing is open for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. We happily accept walk-in patients and fit them into the schedule with as short of a wait as possible. We try to immediately see our existing patients who have emergencies, but we prefer that non-patients make an appointment.

History of East Peoria, IL
East Peoria was originally known as Bluetown when settlers from Alsace Lorraine immigrated to the area in 1864. There are a few theories as to why the town was originally called that: Alsace Lorraine men often wore blue smocks and the homes were painted blue to combat the corrosive swamps they were built on. Twenty years after Bluetown was founded, the residents of the area, as well as the residents from Coleville, incorporated until the name Hilton which was changed to the Village of East Peoria five years later.
