Rodney Willey D.D.S.
As the founder and CEO of Maple Shade Dental Group, Dr. Willey has provided gentle dental care to the people of Peoria since 1986. He is best known for having outstanding character and compassion for his patients.
Upon completion of his Doctorate In Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University, Dr. Willey continued his education for the next four years with comprehensive courses in pediatric functional appliances and orthodontics, a course designed for the general dentist. Dr. Willeyís philosophy is to provide guided oral growth and development to patients 7 - 12 years of age. The benefits of guiding the development of childrenís teeth will eliminate or shorten the time needed for orthodontics in most cases. Guided growth may also make it possible to achieve outstanding results without the removal of teeth or the wearing of cumbersome headgear.
Dr. Willey is also a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies where he completed courses in neuromuscular dentistry (TMD), and neuromuscular occlusion. What does this all mean? Dr. Willey says it best, ìMany patients come to me after seeking alternatives to ease their pain. It is truly a wonderful feeling to be able to end their pain and help them feel good again.î
As the father of four, Dr. Willey enjoys interaction with children, young people and adults. He is an avid down hill skier; he loves golf, scuba diving and living life to the fullest! He and his wife, Donna, co-pastor the Richland Bridge Fellowship Church in Chillicothe, IL. Much of their traveling time is spent in an effort to uplift and encourage others personal walk with God.
